This event was an unpaid, volunteer event for the Illbillys, but not only did they get to play to an audience
of 24,000, they were mentioned on the radio, briefly (and unidentifiedly) glimpsed on a show about the race
on the local CBS affiliate, and a bit of their performance of the song "Superman" was used as part of the audio
of a slideshow of runnerpix at the inRich
website. AND it was fun! And nobody got electrocuted! Ultimately, that's about all a band can hope for.
