It seems unfair to characterize Earl as merely one of the "friendly drunks" so pivotal to Illbilly history, seeing as he's such a cool guy and good friend to both the birthday girl and bassist Peter, but...he was tipsy enough to join the band with a homemade instrument, which Jack, for one, appears to have found a mite bothersome. This was Peter's sister Jennifer's birthday (the big 4-0!) at her picturesque ranch in Manquin, VA, on June 22, 2003.
