As has been the case on several occasions, Blessed Sacrament @ Huguenot's Beef & Music Festival was the Illbillys' first show of the year. Taking place as this event does in early May makes for reliably unpredictable weather, which means a band never knows where or under what conditions they'll be playing. In 2004, stormclouds threatened, so the musical entertainment took place in the gym...ALWAYS really great for acoustics, plus it was far enough out of the way that most people didn't even know (or care) that there were bands playing. Nonetheless, the Illbillys soldiered on, opening for the Backstreet Band. Peter's daughter Tori was kind enough to take these pictures.
