Scheduling a show during a travel weekend (such as that associated with Thanksgiving, for example) is always risky, reports showbiz know-it-all Jack Taggart. "If youze wants a big turnout, youze gotta plan around the availabiliddy of yer fanz." Okay, he doesn't really talk like a NYC cabbie in 1974 (I'm told they all speak Farsi these days), but his point is well made.
Due perhaps to that very factor, the turnout at Grandpa Eddie's for this show was, though dedicated and generally appreciative, a tad on the slim side. As anyone who enjoys Slim Jims™ will tell you, however, slim is better than none. Though it frequently gives you heartburn.
You may well note, a rather paltry selection of pix exisits in this gallery! These pictures were taken by Donnie, Peter, Madison & Jill, who, in addition to taking pix, had the additional duties of respectively making sound adjustments, playing bass, entertaining out-of-town guests and...well, I'm not sure what else Jill was doing, honestly. A few other parties were snapping away, but as yet the results of their efforts haven't been submitted to Illbilly HQ. Step up, people!
