Laura and Brian, the latter of whom auditioned for the role of Illbilly Lead Guitarist, lost out to Chris, and yet has been to more Illbilly shows than Chris has. Sound impossible? I'm tellin ya. I'm also tellin' ya that Brian DID succeed in his bid to become the bass player for JB's other band, the Venture Rays...a position which is likely to be more financially rewarding than playing with the Illbillys! Since this obviously made him feel guilty, Brian & Laura helped to carry the Illbillys' equipment at the end of the night.
