Upon their first experience of playing 'neath a "pop-up tent" @ their recent Cul-de-Sac show, Peter recognized the need of something amusing that could be hung inside the tent...shrunken skulls, mummified birds, gaily painted pork rinds; the possibilities are endless. On the way out the door that day, he grabbed this lightstring of his daughter's, which wound up being the only source of light they had onstage once night fell. Thanks to that accursed lack of sunlight, Joe was unable to read his "cheat sheet" to play the Illbilly necessity "I Wish/Peace Frog," so the lightstring was strung along the ground, casting enough of a cheery pink glow to enable his participation! Lightstring allowed the funk to be delivered to 40Fest participants! |
