The Illbillys, beset with the necessity of playing "unplugged," found it to be a somewhat liberating experience. They'd been working on learning a new batch of songs for the past several months while simultaneously experimenting with new & better ways to deafen themselves with loud music attached directly to their eardrums...suddenly, here was an excuse to plunk on some acoustix and do away with most of Jack's noisy drumset! Does the fact that the Illbillys enjoyed the prospect of playing quieter make them...OLD? Render thine own judgement.
