The whole concept of a microphone for Jack is a bit tricky. Although he was witnessed to sing quite admirably as recently as their show in October with his other band, El Campo, while drumming, generally Jack in Illbilly mode only uses his microphone to say rude things to random passersby, yip, hollar and belch. It certainly does look as though he's singing here, but do not be deceived.
