Generally, Jack needs to get his equipment set up before the rest of the band's stuff can be carefully placed onstage. His historic drummin' rug serves as the foundation to all Illbilly performances, and his instrument, the only one not carried around while being played, anchors the setup. Thus, once he's finished assembling his drums, he gets the opportunity to sit somewhere closeby and order everyone else around.
