Meanwhile, Joe has joined the Illbillys onstage for set #2, which includes his guitarin' craftsmanship. Unfortunately, the previously well-behaved contingent of underage Illbilly fans has morphed into a bloodthirsty mob, working up their courage to take the Illbillys out. Well, really, they just all decided they wanted to be onstage, and the Illbillys, having neglected to hire any security personnel, were powerless to stop them. Here, it begins to dawn on Joe that a small person being inadvertantly squashed is no longer a matter of if, but when.
