"Mule Train" is by now one of the Illbillys' signature songs, and as such it has become obligatory to invite some unsuspecting (female and cute) audience member onstage to operate the Clapper*, a device that JB constructed in order to somewhat safely replicate the sound of a whipcrack, and if you still don't get the concept, visit some earler shows' gallery pages to see previous clapperchicks.
Unsuspecting (female and cute) audience member Cathy was kind enough to heed the call for a volunteer, and cracked her whip most admirably each & every time JB uttered the sentiment, "Hyaaaah," as she had been instructed.

*Not to be confused with the Clapper, an excellent product that is used to turn lights on & off with a simple handclap. Please don't sue us.
