In addition to assembling letters onto the venue's marquee, Jack also plays the role of Guy In Charge of Sound & Stuff @ Grandpa Eddie's. Sound was a bit of an issue for this show, since it's a relatively intimate venue, and nobody wants to chew on barbecue while glass is being shattered all around them by sound waves. As it happened, the Illbillys started late enough that most NORMAL people were already done eating, but they took it easy in their first set anyway, soothing the savage beast with the melodious strains of a Van Cliburn / Saint-Saens medley before setting about breaking all that aforementioned glass in their second set.
