The Gods of Rock 'n' Roll decreed that The Illbillys would play three back-to-back-to-back shows over the weekend before Christmas. Never ones to defy the gods, The Illbillys made the proper sacrifices at the altar and gamely started lugging all their equipment around.

Midlothian, VA: December 16, 2005
'Twas a cold, clear night. The party host's back deck was covered with a big white tent & kept somewhat bearable temperature-wise with a big propane heater...which JB naturally appropriated for his own personal use. The rest of us watched our breath float away. Pix primarily courtesy of Jill.

Bandito's: December 17, 2005
Now a semiannual event, The Illbillys and 42 of their close, personal friends ate nachos and celebrated the season, mostly by drinking, at Bandito's...the band felt they owed a public show to their loyal, somewhat tone-deaf  fanbase, booked as they were to perform at private functions otherwise. Where it was frigidly cold at the previous night's gig, it was overheatedly hot at Bandito's! Most pix courtesy of James.

Stonehenge Country Club: December 18, 2005
After the Cold Gig & the Hot Gig, The Illbillys got to stretch their talents once again and play...the Quiet Gig! Not only were the partygoers for whom The llbillys were performing enjoying a civilized meal while the band was playing their 1st set, but there was a retirement party going on in an adjacent room. As a result, the fortunate employees of Computer Concepts got to experience something never before heard...The Illbillys playing & singing as gently as ever they could! Pix by & large courtesy of Madison.
